The design, concept and photography were created by Photographer David Bailey and usage of any part of this imagery in any form or likeness whether whole or part without the prior written consent of Camera Eye Limited is an infringement of the author’s rights.

If you have been contacted Copytrack they will have assessed that an infringement has taken place. It is requested that all issues are resolved directly with the above company to avoid any confusion in reaching an amicable solution.

For any reason that Camera Eye Ltd would need to be contacted in regards to an infringement please do so in writing. The unique case ID (e.g CAS_12345) must be quoted. This will enable a member of Camera Eye copyright team to find the correct case file. Without this information we will not be able to respond.

Any images produced by an individual or company monetised in any format without prior license or permission will lead to action being taken.

Examples of infringements may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prints, merchandising, murals, clothing and accessories or any other products produced.

  • Use for any editorial, news article or video without credit, license or permission.

  • Advertising or promotion of a brand, an event or a venue in print, digitally, on social media etc.

  • Using images from a press relaease out of context or to create additional content.

  • Modifying, cropping or manipulating our imagery in any way or as part of a graphic design or logo.

  • Applying a logo, trademark or copyright to imagery to our properties.

  • To collect any royalties via sub-licensing or making our properties available to download.

  • For any other way deemed detrimental to the works or offensive to the content/persons featured in said works.

Camera Eye Ltd maintains an active policing policy for infringing images and will not hesitate to pursue legal action against those involved. If you have been approached by Camera Eye Ltd Copyright team or are wondering if your work is infringing on our intellectual property rights please see the UKCS Website for further advice. All graphical or physical representations or derivations of the works must be approved and/or licensed by Camera Eye Ltd prior to use.

Camera Eye Ltd reserves the right to refuse a license of any of its imagery for any products, events, uses etc. that are deemed inappropriate, in poor taste, defamatory or damaging to the reputation and good nature of its business or generally of poor quality and low standards.

Camera Eye Ltd support personal fan art which represent images that belong to the Archive provided that there is no financial gain to the creator of the works. If you have created a work and are sharing on social media please tag us @bailey_studio so we can see it and share it. If you are unsure if a work is covered by the above we always recommend that you check with us for clarification.
