RITZ MAGAZINE

In 1976 he co-founded monthly magazine Ritz Newspaper with David Litchfield.  They worked as co-editors.  The focus was on gossip, celebrity and fashion.  Nicky Hallam, Frances Lynn, Stephen Lavers and Amanda Lear were the original gossip columnists covering the London Social scene.  


The interviews with high profile individuals of the time included amongst others Gore Vidal, Sammy Davis Jr, Paul McCartney and Frank Zappa.  The writers Clive James and Peter York were contributors.  


The magazine closed in 1997 after having sold 25,000 copies a month at its peak.
